Day 9 #stayhome #staysafe

Yesterday, my little sous chef made a lovely breakfast- avocado on toast with feta and Italian herbs, lunch was a bowl of leftover dal, rice and bhindi because we weren’t too hungry, plus I was too swamped with work, but dinner was this amazing version of dahi (yoghurt) coriander chicken which I strongly suggest you try out. You can find the recipe in my blog post below. It's as simple as two steps to complete, so you have no excuses not to try this out!

BREAKFAST- AVOCADO & TOAST

I was so impressed and content with this extremely tasty breakfast put together for me. Make sure to have ripened avocados, feta cheese and Italian herbs for this morning delight.

DINNER- YOGHURT & CORIANDER CHICKEN

This was an absolute experiment. I wanted to put together a quick dish and limit my chopping of onions and veggies. This dish takes two steps to follow and tastes absolutely incredible! The trick is to leave the thick gravy but also to ensure your chicken is nice and brown on all sides.

Ingredients for my juicy yoghurt coriander chicken:

6/7 pieces of chicken

5 tbsp Greek yoghurt

1.5 tsp minced garlic

2 tbsps chopped coriander

1 tsp zatar

1 lime squeezed

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp crushed kasuri methi

Salt to taste

Recipe for my two step super delicious chicken meal-

Step 1: Marinate the chicken in a bowl with all the ingredients mentioned above. Leave this for at least an hour (longer the better).

Step 2: Heat oil/ butter in a pan. Pour in the marinated chicken and fry well on both sides. Leave a very thick gravy to serve as the base of the chicken.

This tastes great with rotis or paranthas. I hope you try it out and like always, send in your stories to me once you've experimented it :)
