A Little Blend Of Spain and India!!

It’s been an extremely long week for my husband and myself, so both of us decided to have a relaxing Saturday at home. What I love about weekends is that extra time to prepare a special #breakfast.

Today’s breakfast, or should I say brunch, holds a special meaning to me- Not only does it taste super good, it also reminds me so much about my Munich stint. I strongly recommend you to try this out and I promise it won't disappoint. You don't need any sides and on it's own this will leave you pretty full for many hours after!

A very wise Spanish friend once told me that #spanishomelettes are NOT supposed to have tomatoes or spices and true enough that’s the correct way of eating it.

Today, however, I tried blending a bit of Indian taste buds along with my attempt at the infamous Spanish omelette. If there’s something I learnt while I was miles away from home in Munich, it was how extremely similar the #Spanish and #Indian #cultures are- the warmth and caring nature of people, the amazing hospitality, the love for food and sharing of heritage are just among a few common points. This warm dish can also be greatly satisfying in the cold winters in Munich.

This was my first attempt at making this alone, so it did take a little longer than it should and I have to be honest that I used a pan that wasn't the best, thus the few burn marks on my omelette. However, it turned out to taste great and was such a wholesome meal for the two of us.
