About Me

Hi there, I'm Sonia! Given the nature of my job, I end up travelling a fair bit and have long working hours. I believe that although life can be complicated, cooking a good meal shouldn't be. I have lived away from home for over 10 years now and always ordered in or eaten out, but over the last few years I've realized how important work-life harmony is. Good health is truly the key to happiness and success. Great food forms such an important part of my life, since I grew up in Kolkata (India) and born to a family of hard-workers and foodies! I try using the experience I gain while I travel, coupled with my memories of home to make some soulful food for my family and I hope I can inspire some of you to do the same!

30 Day Challenge

During this period of staying at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am challenging myself to ensure I manage to make all meals at home on the weekdays. This would entail a few early mornings for me, but all of us should learn how to maintain a healthy work-life harmony.
